ATTN!! Pixie-Bobs in Need of Immediate Rescue!!!

This is an email I received regarding 4 total Pixie Bobs at a kill shelter in Indiana. Porter County Animal shelter in Valparaiso, IN… Date: Thu, 3 Jan 2008 12:50:24 -0600They are very young still (just a year) and need rescue so that they can be adopted from a home rather than the scary shelter. Who is close by that could take one or two? Here they are:

On December 31st they got in a litter of cats that is about a year old from someone. They are Pixie Bobs…2 have no tail, 1 has a stub of a tail, and the other has a full tail. They are all brown tabby colored and are all females. Is there anyone that can help? They are scared here at the shelter and we fear they may have to be euthanized if they do not find homes. Call the shelter at (219) 465-3550 from 9am-4pm weekdays or saturday 8:30-2, ask for Katie or Nicole. Or, email them at

kutin87@hotmail.com

Please forward this onto other rescues if you are not able to help. If you have trouble getting a hold of the shelter, send your emails to

 pixieint@hotmail.com

and we will help.

  1. I wished I could help. But unfortinatly I’m full house here. I would recommend getting ahold of some local farmers. I’ve given a bunch of strays to local farmers here for mice control. Just a suggestion.
    Sorry,
