  2. In certain species it is a common color. However in bobcats and certain other animal species it is a rarity.

Kind of like the white Orca found recently. In many animals it is a common color just not in Killer Whales.

  3. 2 years ago we brought Cissy home from Florida. We live in Kentucky.Cissy is a female black and white tailless cat whose characteristics, except for the color,is amazingly like the description of the Pixie Bob. Her hind legs are noticeably longer than the front and her demeanor is exactly as the lady from Washington described. Her underside is totally white and she wears four white boots. Whiskers and eyebrows are also white. I wish I could attach a picture or two. Oh, and doglike, she comes when I whistle for her! Dick Strange

  4. I believe I spotted a black bobcat in the Daytona Beach Area. Definitly not a typical cat. It had very long hind legs, large pointed ears, short “bobbed tail, large head and approxiamately 25lbs. I didn’t have my camera with me, but i may take a trip back and try to document this animal.
